GAIL records Turnover of Rs. 18000 cr
New Delhi, May 13, 2008
GAIL today announced its annual auditied results for the
year 2007-08. The company achieved a turnover of Rs. 18000 cr
in the year 07-08 against Rs. 16047 cr in FY 06-07.
The Net profit increased by 9 % to Rs. 2601 cr for FY0708
against Rs. 2387 cr in FY06-07.
The company announced 100 % dividend.
GAIL has set a target for Gas Transmission of around 81.5
mmscmd of natural gas. The company plans to invest Rs. 3413 cr
for FY0708.
The Earning per share increased from Rs. 30.76 per share in
FY0708 compared to Rs. 28.22 per share in FY0607
