Korba and Rihand are top
Performing NTPC Stations

NTPC Korba and Rihand received the rolling trophy jointly
for the all round performance amongst NTPC Stations in the
NTPC Swaran Shakti Award ceremony held in New Delhi.
Southern and Western Regions of NTPC received 17 awards
each for the power stations in their regions followed by
Northern, National Capital and Eastern Regions. Awards and
Citations were presented by R.S.Sharma, CMD, NTPC, Chandan
Roy, Director (Operations), A.K.Singhal, Director (Finance)
R.C.Shrivastav, Director (HR) and I.J. Kapoor, Director(Comml.).

Swarn Shakti Awards have been instituted by NTPC to strive
for excellence among its own projects in the areas of
Productivity, Safety, Employee Relations, Rajbhasha,
Protection & Improvement of Environment, Health Services, CSR
& Community Development and Project Management. These awards
are given in recognition of the outstanding performance by
NTPC projects/ stations.
