NTPC Bags 4 awards at the
Great Places to Work Awards-2009
New Delhi, June 10, 2009
| NTPC Limited has
been ranked 1st among Large Organizations (with over
10,000 employees), the Best PSU (Public Sector
Undertaking) and 1st in Industry Verticals rankings in the
Manufacturing and Production Segment by a joint study
conducted by Great Places to Work Institute India and The
Economic Times.
In the overall ranking of India's
Best Companies to Work for 2009, NTPC is ranked 10th. |

R.C Shrivastav, Director (HR), NTPC received the awards from
Dr Bhaskar Das, Executive President, Times of India Group and
Prasenjit Bhattacharya, CEO, Great Places to Work Institute
India at the awards ceremony held in Mumbai. S B Agrawal,
Regional ED (West), NTPC, A K Bhatnagar, GM (HR & CC) , Ashok
Swarup, DGM (HR) and R S Kaul, DGM (HR), NTPC were also
present with Shrivastav on the occasion.
NTPC has always believed in achieving organizational

in the study this year. As compared to last year 123 more
organizations were in the fray for the awards this year.
The other companies to feature in the top 5 are RMSI, Intel
Technologies India, Federal express Corporation, Aviva Life
Insurance (India) and Google India.
