“Ganpati Festival” Special Trains on
Konkan Railway for Its Esteemed & Valuable Passengers
New Delhi, July 13, 2010
In order to cater for the extra rush
during the ensuing Ganpati Festival 2010 , Konkan Railway has
introduced the following Special Trains between Chhatrapati
Shivaji Terminus – Madgaon / Karwar - Chhatrapati Shivaji
Terminus Stations for the convenience of its most valuable and
esteemed passengers. The details of these train services are

Thivim and Karmali. The train will have 18 coaches with the
composition of Ten Sleeper Coaches, Two AC 3-Tier, One AC 2
-Tier, Two General, Two SLR Coaches and One Pantry Car.
Halts at: The train will halt at
Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun,

More trains are also likely to be introduced during this
period in consultation with Central / Western Railways.
