Govt. approves Indo-China MoU in rail, housing and other
sectors
New Delhi, January 11, 2008
Government has approved the memoranda of understanding for
cooperation that India and China will sign in rail, housing
and other sectors during PM Manmohan Singh's visit to China.
Prime Minister Dr.Manmohan Singh's China visit will begin
from Sunday.
The Cabinet however deferred the delimitation exercise in
Jharkhand and four North Eastern states of Assam, Manipur,
Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh.
The delimitation process has been completed for 3,726
assembly constituencies and 513 Lok Sabha constituencies in
the rest of the country
