Hinduja Global Q3 net down 7.22% at Rs 28.01 cr

IT outsourcing firm Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS) posted a 7.22 percent decline in its consolidated net profit at Rs 28.01 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2010.

This is against a net profit of Rs 30.19 crore registered during the same period last fiscal, HGS said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Its consolidated revenue, however, increased 28.96 per cent at Rs 286.99 crore in Q3 FY'11 from Rs 222.54 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During the quarter, HGS added two new clients, while added 1,990 associates, taking its total headcount to 18,730 employees.
