Concor Presents Dividend
Cheque of Rs. 45.10 Cr
New Delhi, February 15, 2007
A Dividend Cheque of Rs. 45.10 crores was presented to Shri
Lalu Prasad, Minister for Railways by Shri Rakesh Mehrotra,
Managing Director, Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR)
here today. This represents interim Dividend @ 110 per cent on
the Equity Paid-up Share Capital of Rs. 64.99 crores.
Ministry of Railways holds 63.08 per cent of the Equity
Share Capital of CONCOR. Member Traffic, Railway Board &
Chairman, CONCOR and other officials of CONCOR were also
present in the function. CONCOR’s 121st Board of Directors
Meeting held on 15th January 2007 declared interim Dividend @
110% on the paid-up Equity Share Capital for the Financial
Year 2006-07 as against total dividend @ 180% for Financial
Year 2005-06.
CONCOR has already paid 73.79 crores to Government of India
towards Final Dividend for Financial Year 2005-06. So far,
CONCOR has paid to its shareholders a total dividend of Rs.
579.96 crores, out of which the share of Indian Railways has
been Rs. 373.95 crores.
