Maruti sales in November 2005
New Delhi, 01 December, 2005
Car market leader Maruti Udyog Limited sold 43,568 vehicles in the domestic market in November 2005. This is 6.0 per cent more than the domestic sale in November 2004.
The company had sold 40,948 vehicles in the domestic market in November 2004.
The company's total sale in November 2005 was 47,391 units. This included export of 3,823 units.
Maruti's volume in the domestic A2 segment grew by 22 per cent during the month as compared to sales in November 2004.
During the month the company was able to scale up the production of Swift. This has improved the availability of the Swift enabled the company to meet customer demand promptly. The company sold 6,278 units of Swift in November 2005.
