D. Krishnan takes over as LIC PR Chief

D.Krishnan has taken over the reins of Public Relations and Corporate Communications of LIC of India as Executive Director (PR & CC) on 20th December, 2004. He has succeeded Mr .A.K.Shukla who has been appointed as Managing Director, LIC .

Mr. Krishnan joined LIC as a Direct Recruit Officer ( IX batch) in 1969. He has held various prestigious positions in LIC in various cadres, the prominent among them being Marketing Manager(Ernakulam Division), Sr. Divisional Manager – (Kottayam and Lucknow Divisions) and Regional Manager-LIC HFL(Chennai). On elevation to the Cadre of Zonal Manager, he was posted as the General Manager, Marketing –Corporate Office, LIC HFL. On subsequent elevation to the cadre of Zonal Manager (Selection Grade), he took charge as Addl. Chief Executive- LIC HFL and subsequently occupied the post of Chief Executive, LIC HFL. He occupied the position of Executive Director(HRD/OD) before being posted as Executive Director(PR & CC).
