Maruti Sales in August 2005
New Delhi, September 1, 2005
Car market leader Maruti Udyog Limited sold 41,717 vehicles in the
domestic market in August 2005. This is 10.8 per cent more than the
domestic sales in August 2004.
The company had sold 37,660 vehicles in the domestic market in August
2004.
The company's total sale in August 2005 was 46,509 units. This included
export of 4,792 units. Maruti's volume in the domestic A2 segment grew by
26.8 per cent during the month compared to sales in August 2004.
