PNB’S develops in-house software for making tax payment

New Delhi, August 30, 2005

With a view to facilitate the payment of tax through Internet, Punjab National Bank has developed in house web based software. This allows customers of the Bank to make payment of excise and service tax through Internet banking channel. 

Customers have the facility to generate instant cyber receipt and receipted copy of challan is delivered at doorstep. The facility is available to Central Excise and Service Tax assesses registered for Bank’s Internet Banking services. E-payment allows direct debit to the customer’s account and simultaneous credit to Govt.
