Sarkaritel is one of the most informative website when it come to
the Telephone and Fax number and Office, E-mail and Web addresses
of Government Offices.
But the site needs a lot of face-lifting, a search facility and
more organised information. For example the departments/organisation
should be given in category of Govt. of India, State Governments,
UTs thereunder the various departments, organisation, and
autonomous bodies. Information regarding reputed NGOs will also be
useful. The most important thing which can be made available with
the telephone numbers and addresses is that a brief note regarding
the department's functioning, the working something like citizen
charter. This information could be sought from these departments.
The number of Chief Vigilance Officer / Anti Corruption Complaint
No./address will also be a welcome step for general public.
Finally, Sarkaritel.com needs a little more publicity.
