New Delhi, Feb 29 : Sudhir Vasudeva, CMD, ONGC, was conferred the first FGI Ratna Award by the Federation of Gujarat Industries (FGI), in a special ceremony held as part of the inaugural function of the FGI National HRD Conclave 2012, organized at Vadodara.


The Award was presented to Vasudeva for his sterling leadership and his contributions in India, in the field of alternate and renewable sources of energy.

The Award was received by K.S. Jamestin, Director (HR) on behalf of Vasudeva from Dr. (Smt) Mrunalini Devi Puar, Chancellor, M. S. University of Baroda.

Besides, the maiden FGI Ratna Award, the Federation also declared and presented ten elite FGI HR Awards, in recognition of path breaking professional contributions to HR Management in India.

K.S. Jamestin, Director (HR), received the FGI HR Award in the same function from His Excellency Prasad Kariyawasam, High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to India, who attended the inaugural function of the Conclave as the Chief Guest.
