The Hyderabad Metro Rail Project has been facing many hurdles, and is expected to be completed in 5 years. But when its first phase is likely to be completed in about three years, I really wonder how this massive project will be completely over in the span of 5 years.

It is very very regrettable that such a huge amount has been infused in AI. The airline is structurally flawed,it has old outdated policies & wwork practices that are not only manpower guzzlers, but highly retarded and slow in these quick respnse time era. Till date the bureaucratic management has failed to take a SINGLE major decision that can coonvince the people of this country, that yes, AI management is committed to saving AI. A bureaucrat is an administrator and NOT a manager. It is time the PM & the FM realised this fundamental fact. An administrator implements or administers a laid down policy, whereas a manager spells ou or draws a policy. It is fitting a square peg in a round hole-which can never happen. It doesnt take a rocket scientist to identify what is wrong with AI- it is a highly overstaffed, grossly overpaid unionistic organisation. It works for its employees and their welfare only.It has no passenger or customer service focus. It continues to borrow money, which it has been for the last one year, to pay salaries to its highly inefficient & unproductive manpower. By rough estimate, today safely 30% of all its employees in non-operational can & should be retrenched. But No ! Till date this management has not done so. Why because of the vested interests. Of late there has been increasing pressure on the Ministry & the management to implement the Dharmadhikari report. Why ? Reason is that this report talks of the Vth Pay Commission implementation, and if this is done, then automatically the report also suggests increase of the retirement age to 60 from the present 58.It will be a bonanza for all the 30,000 employees of the company who will continue to be on hefty wages for a further period of two years. The report says that it is wage cost neutral, that is the wages will remain almost the same, so it is a GREAT win for the employees, and no wonder they are demanding a quick implementatiion of this report. What a tragedy, at a time when the company desperately needs to cut flab & reduce its manpower, there is a contrary move to seek extention. This airline will never be turned around at this rate-because its bureaucratic administration seeks solution within the existing policy framework, which as all & everyone knows has been responsible for pushing this airline to its doom. But then the question is who is there to check & question this management for its apathy, inactivity & lack of strong & tough decisions.

It’s really good for India and Brazil people because in New Delhi, March 31 A day after the BRICS summit, India and Brazil Friday decided to step up efforts to push the UN reforms and signed half a dozen pacts in areas ranging from science and biotechnology to cultural exchanges. I think we should also support PALS because PALS is a ‘Pure Air Lovers Society’ working for preventing air pollution. Its really great support by us for help PALS because by the help of PALS we can solve <a href="http://www.pals.in/" rel="nofollow">Environmental issues in india</a>.

Dears,I personally feel xretemely happy that an additional connectivity to Sandhole through a bridge was a 30 years long pending demand . Medical facility is no doubt a major issue for the public. But in my opinion many big personalities from this area if think to come on a common platform , make a trust and start privately managed Hospital and even a college. Many of them will come forward if we take an initiative. We should ask our elite psonalities to invest in their own area. But we should be free from any political touch. Congratulating the people of the area for getting so much long awaited TOHFAS.

Mr.Manmohan Singh is a Technocrat and not a Politician and so often others have to ighhlight his achievements, which are many. He was the architect of India's economic reforms under the able leadership of Mr.P.V.Narashimha Rao. If not for P.V.Narashimha Rao, the Gandhi clan would have continued the corrupt socialist license Raj economic policies till date. The only fault of Mr.Singh is that he listens too much to the USA and ignores the real voice of India. The latest policies of Mr.Singh both in the economy and foreign affairs appear to be focused towards pleasing the USA. Why should India's Prime Minister try to please the USA ? He should work for India's interest and should not be perceived as trying to please the USA. His efforts to please USA is hurting India's economy and India's relations with Russia, China, Iran and several others. The Civil Nuclear Deal as much beneficial for USA as it is for India and so there is no need to bend backwards to please USA and thereby harm India's backbone.

Can't we do both?Issues like HIV have very specific and cpomlex social problems around them it requires a much more targeted approach. Or indeed, several different targeted approaches based on age groups and gender.Cases of diarrhoea, in comparison, have very simple universal solutions that upset no one. It's the lack of resources and infrastructure that are the main problem. General investment in health systems would have a huge impact on the easy ailments such as diarrhoea, but I can't imagine it would make a sizeable dent on HIV infection rates.

From one perspective, it seems nice that our neohgbiring country has taking new height day by day but from our own economic perspective it may be harmful to us because, our country's main source of income is tourism and there may be possibilities to effect on our tourism business. But, it doesn't mean that this is not good to have development in our neohgbiring countries but i mean to say that now we have to face tough competition in our main source of economy. So, the time has come to think about our own development. Of course, there are varieties in tourism business. And, Nepal's strength is natural beauty, hills, himalayans, arts, handicrafts etc. But till the period, there is no any significant improvement to promote such business from our side. So, we should learn from the UAE and have to work hard to utilize our assets in the pearls. The main inspiring story is that, UAE has changed it's identity from the empty desert towards the beautiful city, artificially, while we are same, eventhough having so much natural beautiness in itself. So it proves that nothing is impossible if we have desire to change and willpower to prove our dreams.

Thanks krish, i accept ur ccisritm for grammetical errors, english is my secondary language,i hav studied upto 12th in hindi medium. For studying medicine,i had to changed in english ,so i try my best, and will try to be more accurate in future.I donot know exactly the education bill of AP but mr Sibal has passed right to education bill in parliament last year with similar provision.so that state bill i donot think is relevant anymore. This bill on the facevalue look superb, but implementation is very difficult, state like UP has already expressd inability to fully implement it,due to l2k of funds and infrastucture. So for a country as big as ours, just getting bill passed is not enough implementation is biggest chalange.

Living on borrowed time ?

130 billion euro bailout for Greece could well be termed,

“ Give money , will splurge “

But lenders are not amused. They want the Greeks to tighten their belts. And here is how :

	Current monthly minimum wage of 750 euros to be reduced by 22 %

	Younger employees ( below 25 ), must suffer a cut of 32 % . Half of them are in any case unemployed !

	Social security contributions to be cut by 5 %

	15,000 workers to be paid 60 % of basic wages and be dismissed after 1 year

	State work-force to be cut by 150,000 by 2015

	Retirement age to be increased

Even as Greeks are rioting in the streets , no one is asking :

“ How long can any individual or a nation continue to live beyond its means ? How long can you live on borrowed time ? “

The writing is on the wall

Germans and French are unwilling to play , “ my brother’s keeper “ , for Greece , Portugal , Italy , Spain , UK etc

Forget global warming. Global cooling is around the corner !

Hunger is not an Issue !

India’s hunger problem is highlighted in following newspaper reports :

	2,438 children dying everyday for lack of food
                                      ( Times of India / May 13 , 2011 )

	An estimated 1.6 million children ( under 5 ) died this year, representing 23 % of global deaths in that age group
                                       ( Times of India / Sept. 25, 2011 )

	During Jan-Aug 2011, some 18,486 children ( in age group 0-6 ), died of malnutrition in the state of Maharashtra alone – ie : 77 babies dying of hunger everyday !
                                         ( DNA / Sept, 25, 2011 )

	With 21 % of Indian population undernourished ( ie: 230 Million ), nearly 44 % of under-5 children underweight and 7 % of them dying before they reach 5 years, India is firmly established among the world’s most hunger-ridden countries
                                            ( Times of India / Jan 01, 2012 )

But hunger is not an issue for any political party during the current State Elections.

How about promising “ hunger quotas “ according to age – groups ?

Model Code of Conduct does not cover this !

Railway does not have the money to do all these at present. For the last 3 years I have suggested them to use the rail pltform roofs to be concretised and use is at a prime market of the area benifitting all, vendors ,daily commuters, locals, traders . Cost of the same is realiseable by leasing out the space created. Rail can open bank to garner funds from all who visit their stations daily, even passengers can deposit cash for safety, against easily redeemable coupons.Rail can install small safes in running trains for travellers to safe keep valuables during transit, on some fee. I also suggested to install post to scan the lines and perpheries to instantly spot anyone doing any harm or wild animals crossing lines. To fix automatic sirens/recorded alarm calls of animals to disperse them quickly. These post can be made to caution advancing trains to reduce speed or stop. Each train can be fitted with a long stick carrying suitable cameras at requisite angle to scan the lines it has to cross immediately ,spoting trouble trains can stop. I dont no why all the portals of railboard etc are kept defunct disallowing to contact them. This high power committee has advised nothing except constituting a lot of other committees to look into things and recommend but thay have estimated a cost of 1 lac crores. Niether any direction except imposing cess on passengers are advised. Why my suggestions sent to a lot of dignatories were not forwarded to them to take a call. If my tips are all bogus these people could reject my suggestions with logic. They have none hence never ventured to do that. What you shall do with this observation. Do not fide under the protection of feedback box Acknowledge it,Reply me and send this to all including Sri Kakodkar I dont mind to give them my mail id.
