New Delhi, March 01 : The Regional Level Conference of CVOs/General Managers of PSBs/FIs of North Zone by Central Bureau of Investigation was convened by Punjab National Bank at its Head Office, New Delhi.
K.R.Kamath, Chairman & Managing Director, PNB, in his inaugural address, reiterated Bank’s commitment on participative and preventive vigilance. He also emphasized on creating positive environment for working without fear and favour.
Chief Guest, Santosh Macherla, Joint Director(BS & FZ), Central Bureau of Investigation addressed the participants of the Conference and emphasized for working of CBI and Vigilance Departments in tandem. He urged the participants to create an environment in which culprits are punished and innocents are protected. He appreciated the role of PNB in taking lead role in promoting pro-active and participative vigilance.
PNB Alert “Bi-monthly magzine of Fraud Prevention” Special issue was released on this occasion.
Chief Vigilance Officer, Shiv Kumar Gupta put forward a number of issues which were deliberated in depth by participants with CBI Officials. The participants lauded the efforts of Gupta for organizing the inter-active Conference.
